tarot cards are a tool for spiritual, creative, and personal exploration: a compass, lantern, and mirror all in one. within these 78 cards, there are endless cycles, stories, narratives, and discoveries to be made. and through readings, meditations, and studies, we can use the tarot to identify facets of self, insights into our communities, ways of moving through the world, and methods for powerful and necessary transformation, along with nearly anything else our heart and spirit desire.

tarot can serve as a doorway, opening up new paths and encouraging us to wander, explore, question. but it’s up to us to walk through that doorway, and to see what lies on the other side.

often seen primarily as a tool for divination, tarot has a reputation for being strange, mysterious, and hard to interpret — and indeed, the winding roads that these cards can take us down, as well as the truths that they so freely offer, can sometimes be challenging to understand. but that’s largely due to the fact that becoming proficient with tarot rarely happens overnight: the cards speak a language of their own, one that takes time to learn. and if you’ve ever been up at 3AM, trying to find answers in your tarot deck, then you’re in the right place.

whether you’re considering purchasing your very first tarot deck or are a seasoned professional looking for expansive tools to deepen your practice, my work centers on creating accessible and inclusive tarot resources, unconventional study materials, and supportive spaces to encourage personal discovery, collective growth, rebellious thinking, and ongoing evolution.

i don't want you to read tarot like me — i want you to read tarot like you.

who am i?

i'm meg jones wall (she/they) and i'm a queer, chronically ill tarot reader, writer, and photographer. to that end, 3am.tarot is dedicated to inclusive, accessible, transformative tarot work. my goal is to facilitate and encourage tarot discovery; to offer readers tools and support that help you tap into your own strength, wisdom, and magic, using the generosity and mystery of the cards to guide you.
